Introducing Cardig Air
Cardig Air is one of the leading cargo airlines in Indonesia. Based in Jakarta, Cardig Air operates B737-300 Freighter aircrafts and specializes in time-definite and airport-to-airport freight service on both scheduled and chartered basis.
Each aircraft has the capacity of 18 tons gross payload on 9 pallets which are ideal for freight service not only in Indonesia but also across the region.
History
Cardig Air was established in April 2004. It was a wholly-owned subsidiary of PT Cardig International. In July 2008, a group of investors led by current CEO Boyke Soebroto injected new capital and acquired a majority stake in Cardig Air. By then the new management restructured the whole concept of Cardig Air business included replacing the company existing aircraft B737-200C to B737-300F which carry more capacity and efficiency in operations from domestic oriented to regional oriented operations
Cardig Air leased two Boeing 737-300 Freighter aircrafts from a reputable leassor in the industry. The aircrafts arrived in Jakarta on October 2008, and full operations started in January 2009 serving customers on both scheduled and chartered basis. In coming years, Cardig Air plans to expand its fleet to support the market growth in the region.
